GOD BLESS AMERICA In support of our President and all those who serve in our armed forces in their efforts during Operation Iraqi Freedom and other hostile places throughout the world. Let us also remember the people who perished, the policemen, firemen, and volunteers rendering assistance, and all the innocent bystanders in the September 11, 2001 tragedy. Our prayers go out to the friends and families of the deceased. In times of adversity, let us find the strength and unity that have made our country great. Let us cherish our freedom that so many have died to preserve; and solidify our resolve to insure that they have not died in vain. God bless America and keep her strong. The next meeting of our Committee will be held on Monday, September 26, 2011 at the Municipal Authority Building.

REST IN PEACE OUR GOOD FRIEND JOHN LONG, JR. It is with sadness to report that Northampton Supervisor John Long passed away on May 4, 2009 at the age of 50. He was friend to many of us and a loyal Republican who spent many hours for the good of the community and the many charitable organizations he was involved with. We will sorely miss him.
